If you attend all of our tournaments, we will give you a check for $100 at our final tournament in November at the Taj. The first round of $100 bonuses were given out last November, and we're looking forward to doing this again next November!
Here are some changes for the 2013 tournament year per your suggestions and comments:
- We're posting the prize money at the beginning of the tournament
- Tournaments start 30 minutes later in the morning so you can get extra sleep
- We're enlarging the score sheets
- Most of you were not in favor of the "Championship Tournament" so we're back to running it as a regular tournament with minis in the evening and a very high prize reward

The AMJA will donate $25 to Hadassah for each Life Member of Hadassah who participates and $50 for each tournament participant who becomes a new Life Member. Learn to play or improve your Mah Jongg skills with Lois Madow, President of the American Mah-Jongg Association, while enjoying the scenic beauty of Vermont. Classes will be held at The Kitzhof Inn which is nestled in the southern part of Vermont in the Mount Snow Valley surrounded by walking trails and majestic views. The Austrian design of our 23 room Inn is perfect for small groups. The day begins with a hot cooked breakfast made to order getting you ready for Mah Jongg instruction. After lunch take a few minutes to enjoy the beautifully landscaped yard and flower gardens and then back for more lessons. A scrumptious dinner is next followed by our fire pit which is great for roasting marshmallows or if you prefer the outdoor pool allows relaxation and/or exercise time! The class concludes on Thursday with prizes given to a lucky few winners.

The Sunday tournament is from 2pm - 5pm. On Monday, breakfast is at 7am, the tournament starts promptly at 9:30am, and from 2:30 - 5:30pm. On Tuesday, breakfast is at 7am and the tournament begins at 9:30am to 12:30. Minis are on Sunday and Monday at 7:30pm for a $10 fee. Closing ceremony and prizes are on Tuesday.
